Seasonal-Evening Line Cook

Responsibilities:

With the Director, Head Chef and other kitchen staff, provides support for all Brickyard Crossing Resort & Inn activities.

A position in the kitchen working with hot foods and the cutting of meats.

Prepare food, cook customer food orders, and work with the service staff on customer service standards.

Clean and sanitize all equipment, dishes as well as surfaces.

Maintain proper storage of all equipment and dishes.

Provide proper waste management according to standards and specifications.

Maintain cleanliness and a safe work area at all times.

Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid injury to self and others.

Comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.

Enthusiasm for and commitment to the company and the Vision, Mission and Values.

Follow the State Board of Health food regulation procedures at all times.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills, Education and/or Experience Desired:

High School graduate or GED preferred.

Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen.

High integrity.

Innovative thinker and self-starter.

Effective communication skills.

Hours:

Hours for this position are from 2pm to 9:30pm. This is a part-time position and work nights will vary by week.
